Introducing: The VenX Revolution™

The VenX Revolution uses a new technology termed “Nanophlebectomy” in which a handheld disposable device treats and eliminates small and medium sized veins including reticular and spider veins in a transdermal fashion similar to the phlebectomy technique commonly utilized for larger diameter, visibly raised varicose veins.

Frustrated with the technical and regulatory limitations of sclerotherapy and lack of consistent efficacy of surface laser for the treatment of spider and reticular veins, the inventors set out to develop novel systems to treat spider veins. The founders of VenX sought ways to improve ambulatory phlebectomy techniques for smaller diameter reticular and spider veins.

The key differentiating factor between the Nanophlebectomy device and sclerotherapy is that there is no injection of a sclerotherapy agent, and thus the downside of sclerotherapy is averted. In particular, like standard phlebectomy, it is expected, that there will be no staining, matting and potential for ulceration as one sees with sclerotherapy.
